A SCRIPTURE A DAY
May 22
Jeremiah 31:29–31 (KJV)
In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a
sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. 30 But every
one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his
teeth shall be set on edge.
Tom's Thoughts
A friend of ours said, “Stop blaming your parents for everything.
You are an adult now. Grow up.” We have all had difficult times in our lives,
but we can’t keep looking at ourselves as victims. We all make mistakes in life,
but we need to own them and stop blaming others. We can sit in anger and get
bitter, or learn from it and grow.
Matthew 7:3 (KJV) And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy
brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
